Puss’n’Bats
December 2005

Bill appeared for the 3rd year running in Back End Productions infamous Christmas pantomime. This year’s show, Puss’n’Bats – a fusion of the traditional Puss’n’Boots tale with a Dracula theme, was held at the Shepherd’s Bush Pavilion, and was seen by an audience of over 2,500, with all profits going to three charities. Bill played the eponymous character, Felix the Cat, in the show which incorporated all the usual bad jokes, 80’s classic hits, scantily clad girls and over-ambitious dance routines.

Walking Hardrian’s Wall
May 2006

Charles and Bill completed the Hadrian’s Wall walk together with David Beck, a friend of Charles's, and Poppy, Charles’ Black Labrador. The 75 mile walk from Heddon-on-the-Wall, west of Newcastle, to Carlisle over varied terrain and some spectacular countryside was completed in 5 days with the team managing to suffer no more than a few blisters and sore legs (Poppy excepted!).
